In the battle for Ann in Rakhine State that began in the last week of September, the AA has been capturing military council bases and the battle has now reached the Western Command. It is reported that the AA is fighting hand to hand and the military council is unable to withstand the AA’s offensive. The military has suffered heavy casualties and officers have been evacuated in Huskies. The military’s airstrikes are also very bad. Currently, it is reported that the fighting has reached a distance of 1,000 yards (around half a mile) near the Western Command. The AA’s battle for Ann is very strategic and the military council is suffering casualties and is likely to capture the city soon.
If the AA is able to capture the city, it will be the second-worst military district for the military council after the Northeastern Command (NORTHERN COMMAND).
