Myanmar’s electricity supply situation is getting worse. Even during the rainy season, when hydropower can be fully produced, power outages are worsening. Since the coup d’état, the country has been able to provide full 24-hour power during the rainy season. In the following years, the electricity was alternately supplied during the day, and the light was provided at night. This year, even in the rainy season, there is no lights  day and night. Starting next month, there will be blackouts in the early mornings. Because there is no electricity early in the morning, the workers, Students are going to have trouble cooking for breakfast. This is still the situation in Yangon. In Mandalay, the second largest city, there is no electricity for eight hours a day. There is nothing to say about the other towns.

It is very disappointing that even the dams that generate hydroelectricity are overflowing with water all over the country. In addition, the military council has cut power to cities controlled by the revolutionary forces. Where did the excess power from those cities go? Even in this rainy season, if this happens, I think there will be a situation where all the electricity will be cut off in the country next summer.
