The town is located south of the TLNA-occupied Nung Cho town. Based on that area, the military council plans to retake Lashio. Now they are fighting because they are marching towards Nungcho City. According to the current situation, it is more important to prevent the revolutionary forces from descending on Southern Shan than to allow the military group to launch a counter-offensive.
