The NUGPDF captured Tagong town in the northern tip of Mandalay. After capturing the Chinese-owned Tagong Nickel Factory, the city was captured shortly after. Therefore, there are only two cities in the north of Mandalay, Thabeik Kyin and Matara. NUGPDF troops are attacking those cities.
In Rakhine, the AA Army captured the small town of Kyaikli, south of Thandwe. As for Thandwe City, there is still an army naval station left, so it has not been completely captured yet. The military council is planning to get the band back based on that naval base. But let alone counter-offensive, the naval base was desperately resisted. The fighting has gradually reached the southern tip of Rakhine State, Gwa. Beyond the city of Gwa is the Ayeyarwady region, the stronghold of the military council, where no fighting has yet taken place.
