As the fighting escalates day by day, Lashio residents are trying to leave the city and are leaving in large numbers of cars via the Lashio-Mandalay road. But there are still many people who live in the city. People who were going to leave because it was no longer possible have already started to leave. The journey is not very reliable. There are too many people leaving, and hundreds of cars are stuck between Lashio-Mandalay Road and Union Road between Kyauk Mae-Thipaw-Naung Cho-Pyin U Lwin. In some parts of the road, the military council has cut and destroyed the roads, so they are traveling on bypass roads. Revolutionary forces have been attacking military council camps around Lashio City, where the Northeast Regional Military Headquarters is located, since July 3rd, and the fighting continues to this day. As of yesterday, at least 14 civilians have been killed in Lashio during the fighting. There are reports that the MNDAA has attacked and occupied some military council camps, but no official information has been released yet.
