Karen State, which is controlled by revolutionary groups, eight civilians were killed when the military council bombed a Buddhist monastery in Phapon Township. Among the dead was a priest. The monastery that was bombed is a monastery somewhere in Phapon city, and about 200 civilians are sheltering in this monastery. A Russian-made MIG-29 fighter jet was deployed by the Military Council in Phapon. The Yak-130 fighter jets and Yak-12 transport planes have been bombing civilian targets for the past week.

Yangon, A man in Tai Kyi Township died 4 days after being taken to military service. The deceased was a Muslim male and was taken to a battalion in Yangon’s Mingaladon Township along with other new trainees. Because he was a heavy drinker, he was given an alcohol withdrawal drug at the examination hall and died when he was admitted to the hospital. While he was in the hospital, the family tried to visit him, but they were not allowed to see him, saying that it was due to military regulations. He was the first to die among those taken to military service. They say that he died while in the hospital, but this is just what the army said. Since he is a Muslim man, it is assumed that people doubt how he was dead.
