12 civilians were killed and 80 others were injured when a warship from the Military Council Navy fired heavy weapons into the Korean port market in Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine State. At around 8:10 a.m., the military council navy fired two heavy weapons into the Korean port market, killing 12 people and seriously injuring 31 civilians. Currently, the injured are being treated at nearby hospitals and Sittwe Hospital. At a time when there has been no fighting in the war, that act is shooting on purpose to cause mass deaths, and is a blatant war crime. It is the work of the military council that always commits such war crimes and defies other organizations. At present, it is known that the areas where the fighting with the AA is taking place are being fired upon hundreds of times every day from the military council’s station camps in Sittwe.
