The 1027 Operation, which changed the pace of the Spring Revolution, has been exactly three months since today. At the end of three months, at least 33 cities across the country had been captured. There are more than 330 townships in Myanmar. 33 cities can be captured, meaning that they can fully control about 10 percent of the entire country.
The 1027 operation ended in a ceasefire in North Shan on the 12th of this month due to pressure from China. However, in Rakhine State, AA is still fighting fiercely with the army. The Kachin EAO, the KIA, has taken the place of the three northern factions that have been in a cease-fire, and is continuing to attack the military council in North Shan and Kachin states. So until now, fighting is still happening all over the place.
