On the side of Chin State, Magwe, Bordering Ganggo Township and Chin State, Bongzon Village Military Council Police Station was attacked and captured by the Chin Revolutionary Forces. During the battle, a captain of the military council army was captured and the weapons and ammunition were also seized. Bongzon Police Station is located on the main road that connects Ganggo City and Hakha City. After the capture of that camp by the Chin revolutionary forces, there is no military council camp left along the Hakha-Ganggo road, so it is now possible to take the next step to control Chin State.
In addition, it is known that the Chin defense forces attacked and occupied Thel Bwe camp under the Military Council’s Infantry Regiment (304) from Palatwa Township in the west of Chin State. Under the current situation, it has become almost impossible for the military council to send reinforcements from the ground to Chin State. Since there are limits to air support, if the Chin resistance groups put in effort, the major cities in Chin State, including Hakha, can be liberated sooner or later.
