The Military Council announced again that when the passports are renewed for those who are going to work abroad, they will be able to submit proof that they are tax-free. The Military Council has determined that the holders of Passport for Job (PJ) and Passport for Seaman (PS) types must submit proof of tax exemption when applying for renewal. It is known that it was announced at the passport office in Yangon that you must bring a certificate of tax exemption issued by the Internal Revenue Department.
Those taxes will be collected starting from October 1st. The military council has threatened that the passport will not be renewed if the tax is not paid. It will be freed quickly from the regime that is killing the people.
