Two and a half months later, the military convoy that came from Loikaw to Balakhai in Kayah State is still stuck in Fruso and has not even reached Balakhai. From August 2nd, a military council convoy of about 100 vehicles started to depart from Hloikko, and from Loikko via De Mosso to Fruso, the convoy marched along Union Road. It was supposed to go to Balakhai via Phruso, but the military army convoy was stranded even in Phruso for several days. If they go by road between Loikaw and Balakhai, it’s only more than 50 miles away, and if they go by car normally, it’s a journey that can be reached if they go for around an hour and a half. Now, the Military Council Army is trying to use at least six (6) columns to control the villages in the Phruso-Bola Chai section. From there, they are planning to recapture the town of Mese as the next step. The revolutionary forces are doing their best to prevent the convoy from crossing.
