During the Spring Revolution, the military council army, which faced daily destruction of military forces, is preparing to use the staff of the military council departments as the army’s reserve force due to the lack of military strength. In Southern Shan State, a letter regarding the matter was leaked, and it was learned that non-CDM employees would be formed into a militia. Because of this issue, the staff community is panicking. The military council has no ability to recruit new forces. Now, the family members of the army are being asked to guard the security gates of the battalions, so it is possible that the non-CDM personnel will be asked to fight. According to the leaked letter, the army is supposed to have at least 200 people to form a battalion.
