In Kayah state, the military council troops are using massive forces to attack the town of Mae Se, which was occupied by the revolutionary groups. For now, the two camps east of the Thanlwin River have been ceded to the revolutionary groups. The Military Council is moving troops from Shan State into Kayah State in convoys in order to continue the offensive. Since there are no revolutionary attacks on the Military Council in eastern and central Shan State, the troops from that region can be moved into Kayah State as needed. Therefore, because the revolutionary groups intercepted the reinforcements of the army as much as they could, the fighting continued on the side of Moe Brei Loikko Road. In other words, the fighting is spreading in almost the entire Kayah state like in Karen state.
