A large number of military councils have arrived near Laiza, the KIK headquarters in Kachin State. The total strength of the 10 battalions is over 1,000, and some of them are hidden in the forest. This is the second time in Kachin State that the military has clashed with the AIA with a force of more than 1,000 people since the Alo Bom clashes broke out in 2021. Until now, forces from other regions of Kachin State continue to enter. There have not been major battles yet, but there have already been battles to intercept and attack the military council troops that are filling up the Inn. Military experts have considered that if the military council wants to regain control of the area, it may be possible to cut off the route between Sagaing Division and the KIA in order to capture Laiza.
