In Sagaing, this month, the villages of Padu Village in Sagaing Township, the villages near Salt Town, and the villages in Nyang Pinggyi Village on the other side of Monywa Town are suffering from murder, looting, and burning by the military. In those places, the revolutionary groups were able to attack the bases and inflict damage, so the military group went on a rampage targeting the unarmed people.
In Padu district, the revolutionary forces attacked and burned down the district police station. They got weapons. After that battle, the military group started to burn villages in Padun district. The villagers had to go to the monasteries in Sagaing to take refuge. Even so, they still chased them to the monasteries.
