Weather experts have predicted that a small storm may develop in the Bay of Bengal, strengthen into a cyclone, and enter the Irrawaddy Delta region of Myanmar. Typhoon Nargis, which claimed many lives in Myanmar in 2008, entered the Irrawaddy Delta region at the same time. One thing in common is that the military dictators are in Myanmar during this period. If they were to be affected by a storm during their time, the people of Myanmar would be in trouble.
The Irrawaddy Delta region is home to millions of people. If a storm hits the area, people’s lives and property will be lost. The military council will not do anything. I just have to pray that the storm doesn’t come.
