At least 80 local residents were killed when the military council bombed from the air Pazi Gyi village in Kant-ba-lu township, Sagaing division. This morning, the NUG administrative office was opening in that village including refreshments and reception. When the army attacked from the air, the locals were gathering there. The death toll may have been much higher as the helicopter bombardment continued after the initial bombing. Now, the volunteers implemented the rescue work there. The area where Pazigyi village located was no longer the administrative power of the military council. They cannot even make any military operation. So, the village was now like a liberated area of the revolutionary groups. Since it was no longer possible to attack from the ground, the military council brutally bombed a crowded area. 9 innocent people were killed in an air strike on a school in Chin State, not long ago. Now there was encountered such a tragedy again.
