Yesterday morning, there was battle near Shwe-kok-ko town, and in the afternoon near Myawadi township, the fighting between the revolutionary forces and the military council troops continued until today. On the last 3 days, the Cobra column attacked a military vehicle with about 40 military personnel returning to Myawadi, as well as a drone bombardment of the Walley tactical hill, damaging the howitzer cannon on this hill. That cannon caused trouble by firing wildly at nearby villages. Now it’s damaged. Since March 25th, on the Thai-Myanmar trade route from Kok-krait to Myawadi, the Asia Highway had been blocked again due to continuous fighting. With Thingyan festival approaching soon, many people forecasted domestic prices may rise during festival because Thai-Myanmar trade was suspended.
