The rate of inflation that I mentioned yesterday is quite scary. Today, when I bought a used soap bottle, the price went up from 1000 to 2500 Ks. This is the current state of affairs. Some items have jumped to more than two or three times. Especially imported goods. The Military Council was very strict, not issuing import licenses for fear of losing their dollars. In this country, we can’t even produce a single needle, and most of us rely on imports, so it’s worse. Prices have at least doubled, but wages have not increased, and some have become unemployed. As long as the military council remains in place, the situation will not improve, it will only continue to deteriorate.
