The battle between KNU and military council occur in Kawkarait since 20th, January. The total 150 military solider march to the villages nearby Kyon Doh, Kawkarait and the revolutionary group defend. In today battle, nearly 90 military solider were dead and they backward. Meanwhile, the military even bombed a mine in KNU territory that was not related to the battle. It is known that DKBA, a KNU splinter group, participated in the fighting on the side of the revolutionary forces.
