The KNDF forces attacked and occupied the hill of Maeslang Daung Camp, an army stronghold in Balakhei Township, Kayah State. Four rebels were killed and the rest escaped, and the weapons and ammunition were seized. The good thing is that during the attack on the camp, they could block the army base in Balakhei town. This made it impossible for the rebels to send reinforcements. Now, when revolutionary groups fight to capture the camp, they have used that strategy.
In Kayah State, I heard that the civilian group, which was previously under the military, is going to join forces with the revolutionary groups. There have been small movements in the southern part of Shan State, so the military situation in Kayah State may improve even more.
