In Irrawaddy Division, 1 political prisoner was killed and 9 were injured when military council forces opened fire at Pathein prison. I heard that they started being beaten because they found a phone from a political prisoner, and while they were about to execute a political prisoner, the rest of the prisoners protested. When the military council broke out in the prison after a prisoner who had been arrested in the prison demanded to be released, the police under the military council arrived and shot them down with guns. At the moment, political prisoners are like having an official butcher’s license in prison. If they kill the prisoners, there is no action. The officials lied and hid the cases step by step. So the military council is brutally committing violence in the prison.
