The residential areas near Pyin Ma Pin Industrial Zone, Yangon Region, Mingalardon Township, are being forced to move as the military declares them to be military land. There are more than a thousand houses in the place where they were forced to move, including big houses. The place is not an invasion but has been inhabited for more than twenty years. They were asked the last date of November 18th, and now the time has been extended until November 22nd. Some houses are being destroyed and some houses are watching. Last week, the military destroyed about 300 houses in a neighborhood in Mayangone, Yangon. In Mandalay, the situation is worse. People’s houses are being bulldozed indiscriminately both outside and inside the city. The land they wanted to seize was declared as encroachment, and they started destroying it without even giving them time to move. Because the homes of Permanent are being destroyed, people are no longer guaranteed no matter where they live these days.
