U Shwe Man announced that he was going to dissolve the Union Good Union Party led by him. U Shwe Mann was one of the biggest generals after U Than Shwe during the previous military regime, and he had a close relationship with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi during the U Thein Sein government. His party was established in 2019 and contested the election, but did not win anywhere. Now the party is being dissolved.

Shwe Mann was much more powerful than the current military leader Min Aung Hlaing and had a bad relationship with Min Aung Hlaing. Therefore, it is considered that the party was dissolved because they did not want to compete in next year’s election held by the military council, and because the competition may not be fair. It can be said that his decision is correct at the moment.

When former general Tura Shwe Mann chose the right path, U Ko Ko Kyi, who was famous as a former student leader in 88, and his party were almost in control of the military lobby. U Ko Ko Gyi has been a famous person with U Min Ko Naing, who is now in the NUCC in the fight against the military dictatorship, but now he will not say a word about the violence of the fascist army, and will contest the election to be held by the military council as if he wanted peace. Everyone has to choose their own path. U Ko Ko Gyi’s political power among the people has now died.
