NUG held a press conference again. They will attack the military council on six military fronts, political, economic, etc. The period of the final battle is set as one year. Although it has not yet been distributed anti-aircraft weapons to the whole country, the places where the weapons are installed will be shot down if there is an air attack. They mentioned that allies and weapons are installed and political agreements have been reached. However, what was said at the press conference is not very different from what the Acting President and Karwan said last month, one year after D DAY. On the line, there are encouraging things, but on the ground, there is not much difference.
We don’t expect much from what NUG has been saying lately. It’s not that they are talking nonsense, but I feel that people’s expectations are being stretched unrealistically. For example, it has been about two months since the NUG said that anti-aircraft weapons were already in service. During the past two months, the military has carried out numerous airstrikes almost all over the country, but there has never been a single instance of the above weapons being used. A lot of what the NUG has said has no tangible results on the ground.
The open season has arrived. The army can no longer attack as forcefully as last year. At this time, I only pray that NUG can do something about the military.
