They mentioned that allies and weapons are installed and political agreements have been reached. However, what was said at the press conference is not very different from what the Acting President and Karwan said last month, one year after D DAY. On the line, there are encouraging things, but on the ground, there is not much difference.
We don’t expect much from what NUG has been saying lately. It’s not that they are talking nonsense, but I feel that people’s expectations are being stretched unrealistically. For example, it has been about two months since the NUG said that anti-aircraft weapons were already in service. During the past two months, the military has carried out numerous airstrikes almost all over the country, but there has never been a single instance of the above weapons being used. A lot of what the NUG has said has no tangible results on the ground.
