Plots for the spring mandala scheme, another NUG fund-raising scheme, are being sold starting this month. The Spring Mandalay Plan is selling military-owned land in Mandalay. The plan included land in the Mandalay palace and military land at the mountain of Mandalay. Now, in three days, more than nine million dollars worth has been sold. NUG has been doing such fundraising for a while now. First, Min Aung Hlaing’s houses on Inlyar Road were sold first. And the military-owned land in Yangon has been sold at a reduced price in advance so that it can be used after the revolution. Now they have turned towards Mandalay. Through these plans, NUG has funds of tens of millions of dollars in the past few months.
