In Shan State, the Shan State Liberation Army (SSPP) and the military are at a standoff. The army asked to move the three SSPP camps in the middle of Shan State, but the SSPP replied that they could not move them, so the army is expanding its military forces in the area. On the SSPP side, they are preparing militarily, including the troops of their allies.
Although Shan State has a large area, there are hardly any battles except in the northern part of the state. Now, if the military tension explodes, it will put the military council in even more dilemma. Similarly, in Rakhine State, the military and the AA are at a standoff. If we can open new fronts in those two states that are currently peaceful, it will be a great support for the revolution.
Living in Yangon these days, I’m living in fear.
