The ASEAN-Burma talks are over. As usual, nothing will change for the people of Burma. Because it was decided to provide humanitarian assistance through the military council. If so, all aid will be wasted, as it was during Nargis. It was a sham meeting, as expected. Is ASEAN afraid of the military council because the UN special envoy was not invited to protest? Their help will come in the next year or so, in the form of a tortoise.
