As expected, in Kayah State, the military council has taken control of the Nang Mae Khon area and is advancing on Dimoso. The military council is trying to retake control of the area by local defense forces. The KNDF is also defending itself. This is the worst fighting in Kayah State for more than two weeks. It is not yet known how much the military council will be able to penetrate.
