A month has passed. The revolutionary situation is still stagnant. This is not a good sign.
NUG said late last year that the revolution must be completed within the next six months. Earlier this year, 2022 was proclaimed a year of victory for the people. But so far no action has been taken.
Last December, the military council launched an offensive in Lay Kay Kaw, Karen State. People from all walks of life in the city, including some MPs who were fleeing the area, fled. Until then, the NUG’s PDFs in the area were still unarmed, sparking outrage. This February, the military council launched a major offensive in Kayah State, forcing some PDF territories, including Moebye, to be relinquished, not to mention the situation in Sagaing Division. I’m being bullied. What does NUG support to groups that are really fighting on the ground? How are military strategies being formulated to make the revolution a success? How do you shape a change? So far no one was able to send in the perfect solution, which is not strange.
There is not much time left. To win in 2022, we need to travel to some extent militarily between March, April and May before the rainy season. To make such a trip, it is imperative that we launch a military operation this March. If the story continues until the end of this month, the future of the revolution will be worrying.
