It has been four days now. Rakhine State is one of the most stable areas since the military coup, despite heavy fighting in the past. There weren’t many protests, but now the gunfire has started. The military council has opened a new front.
If the AA were to openly attack the military council, it would be a major force for revolution. A few days ago, a joint statement issued by the EAO stating that they would overthrow the military council was now a reality. The military council will be emotional now.
