The KNU has announced that the Non CDM military council staff in Hpapun, Karen State, should leave by February 10. Similarly, statements were issued in Myaung, Kawlin and Chin states in Sagaing Division.
As the coup draws to a year, the NUG is slowly gaining ground. Currently, if the villages are dominated by PDFs and the military councils in the cities can be stopped, the military councils in those areas will be almost dead. It’s interesting to see what happens after the deadline is set for February 10 in the non-CDM announcements.
