France and Ameriaca Oil and Gas company r, two of the world’s largest companies investing in Burma, have decided to leave. The oil and gas industry is one of the highest earners for the military council. They are killing and oppressing people with the money they get from it. It has long called for sanctions against the sector since the coup.

Their decision to leave will hurt the military council to some extent. However, Korean and Thai companies remain in the country, and the military council has not been completely affected. Not only this, they need to sanction MOGE as well. Only then can oil and gas block all revenue streams. The departure of the two companies is believed to be the beginning of the next generation.
