The situation of local garment factory workers has worsened since the coup. The factory owners are being robbed. There is no one to complain to like under the NLD government. They also called the army to arrest them if they protested.

The garment industry used to be a lucrative business for the country. Now there are no international orders. Workers do not have to work overtime because they do not receive orders. Wages are also falling. We still have to earn a living, so we have to work hard to make ends meet. Basic workers are among the worst affected by dictator Min Aung Hlaing.
