Since the beginning of 2022, electricity outages have worsened across the country. In Rangoon, there are frequent electricity outages. It is worse in rural areas. The lights went out for most of the day. The military council has openly announced that it will cut off public electricity supply at any time. Long-term projects carefully constructed under the NLD government have also been washed away.
