Just before I finished writing about yesterday’s airstrikes by the rebels, today the military began using bombers in Kayah State. No injuries were reported as it was nighttime. The KNU issued a letter requesting NO FLY ZONE. But for now, that is not possible.
The rebels used air strikes and mortars. When heavy artillery is used, it can be used not only in battle areas but also in villages and towns that have nothing to do with it. It is unacceptable that deliberate attacks on refugee camps are also taking place. Even if we don’t get NO FLY ZONE, we still have to try to get air weapons.
