In Irrawaddy Division, a convoy of military council ministers returning from Pathein from Chaungtha beach was attacked. About a dozen security personnel were killed and we don’t know the condition of the minister yet. Auxiliary troops from Pathein were searching the area. PDFs are disappearing rapidly.
Last month, General Than Hlaing’s convoy was attacked, claiming that the PDFs in Sagaing Division would be eradicated within three months. Than Hlaing was silent after that.
Now the top members of the military council are being attacked. The news about the watermelon (informesr from the army to civilians) in the army continued. Even the security of their top leaders has become a concern.
