In Sagaing Division, PDFs inspected the cars of passing businessmen and announced that NUG would not be allowed to pass without a tax receipt. This means that PDFs are expanding territorial integrity. NUG says it can connect to about 90% of local PDFs. Soon there will be conditions for arms supplies.
After the arrest of Zeyar Thaw and others, the UG movement in Rangoon calmed down, but in Mandalay, PDFs were not as plentiful as before. A series of attacks on rebel strongholds in the city continue. Only when there is movement in the cities will one side be able to help the other.
