PDFs in Myaung Township in Sagaing Division arrested two military councilors and announced that they would set up checkpoints at the entrances and exits of the town. In this regard, some people think that Myaung Township has become a liberated land. In fact, there is still no fully liberated area. However, in most parts of Sagaing Division, the power of the military council is limited to the cities. PDFs can be used to control a lot of places and roads. Security checkpoints have been set up on the streets to seize military council property and timber smuggling.
