In some towns in Karen State, martyrdom shrines were bulldozed overnight by rebels. They can not even accept the word ‘martyr’. The actions are too childish.
In Chin and Kayah states, the military council is also strengthening its forces. They intend to block and destroy the rebel-held areas. In Kayah, Christian churches are being attacked with heavy artillery.
