Fighting continues in Kayah State. Today, the rebels are using helicopters, but they are retreating with heavy casualties. Kayah will continue to be difficult for the military council. Fighting has been going on for more than ten days. The military council is still out of control.
Fighting has also started in Pauk Township, Magway Division. The war zones are slowly approaching central Burma.
