In some parts of Myanmar, people are now taking up arms against the military council. Especially in Sagaing and Chin states.
The strike in Kalemyo, Sagaing Division, began in early April. Revolutionary battles are now spreading to Yinmarpin, Kanni, Min Tat, and Hakha. Insurgents are using heavy weapons and brutal repression. Some villages are hiding in the mountains. But the people will fight for the overthrow of the military dictator without giving up.
