Tensions remain high in Kalemyo on the Indian border. The civilians have been protesting against the military council since March 27 in Kalemyo. Military Insurgents have been trying to dismantle it on a daily basis, but have so far failed.
The people of the town are struggling because they are taking up arms. Troops were sent to the area to try to resolve the issue, but the villages along the way were barricaded and united.
Now the resistance is spreading to nearby towns such as Tamu, Collins Round It has spread to these cities. There are casualties on both sides.
