On March 27, the day of the Fascist Revolution, a nationwide mass protest against the military dictatorship led to the most brutal massacre in 50 cities, killing more than 100 civilians on the same day.
As of March 28, 169 people had been confirmed dead, and all but 15 of them had been identified by Myanmar Now. Of the 169 deaths in 50 cities, up to 14 were minors.
