Yangon is slowly drying up. There isn’t traffic on the streets, and most shops are closed. Wanting to avoid violence in insurgent areas, due to the news of the impending war, some residents have moved to areas outside Rangoon.
The military council is trying to return to the status quo before the previous military coup, but it will not be easy for the people’s social lives to return to normal if they do not fall.
