Roads in Myanmar’s major cities, Yangon and Mandalay, are close to the battlefield.
To prevent the violence of the military council, for the security of the protesters, the people are blocking the roads and alleys with all kinds of things. Terrorists are also trying to break through these barriers. When there is a confrontation with the people, there is a crackdown. The people resisted with their weapons. They are focusing to attack especially the entrance of Bayint Naung and Hlaing Tharyar. The whole city was covered with smoke. I’m not sure what to do.
In some areas, insurgents have forced street vendors to pull over barricades. The area is threatened with landslides if the barriers are not removed. If this pattern continues, people will be living in insecurity, even in their own homes.
But on the other hand, roadblocks have undermined their administration. The whole economic mechanism has not yet been able to function. The people must continue to stand firm.
