The MDY PDF forces, which had gained control of the area near Mattara town north of Mandalay, are losing ground again due to the military’s heavy offensive. Now, the military is carrying out a heavy offensive in the west of Mattara town, where the MDF PDF forces have a strong foothold, and they have withdrawn from many areas. The military commission has recaptured Thabeik Kyin town north of Mattara town, and Sint Ku town can easily fall into the hands of the military, making it difficult for the revolutionary forces to maintain control of Mattara.
