In Sagaing Region, which has many revolutionary areas in the northwestern part of the country, the military is simultaneously using all its strength to launch a military operation in at least 10 townships. From the end of July to the first week of this month, the military has been deploying military operations in Kalay, Tamu, Pale, Sagaing, Monywa, Chaung U, Aryataw, Wetlet, Kantbalu, Tant Si, Ye U and Shwebo townships in Sagaing Region. If you look at the military operations now, most of them are from Kalay-Tamu to Pale and the eastern part of Chindwin. In many places, they are launching operations on the same day, putting pressure on the revolutionary forces.
Recently, fighting is fierce near the Kandaung Police Station in Pale Township, which is occupied by the revolutionary joint forces. The military is reported to have reached about a mile near Kandaung. Due to the intense fighting, around 20 nearby villages are under siege.
A military column based in Monywa is also advancing into villages east of Monywa. There are also reports that the military is preparing to advance into other areas of Sagaing Region using thousands of troops.
