In Kyrgyzstan, the Military Council has been reinforcing military forces since last month, and this month, the entire province of Kyrgyzstan has been attacking about 1,500 troops. Last year, in February, 2000, a major offensive was fought, and the revolutionary groups were able to resist for about a month, but later they were forced to give up some controlling areas, such as the royal palace.
